Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were among the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. She started in the industry in her early years, as she was just 10 years young. Signed by Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. She was then invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her debut album as a collective with this band came out in the year 1989.
