She rose to fame internationally in the role of Mia Colucci on the Mexican television show Rebelde. Additionally, she is also an active member of the Latin Grammy award-winning pop group RBD. Anahi was the biggest seller of more than 3 million albums in the solo career. Anahi first began her career in 1985, when she was just two years old, and appeared on the Mexican TV program Chiquilladas. Anahi Giovanna Puente was born on 14 May 1983, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Spanish father Enrique Puente, and Mexican mother Marichelo Portilla. She is the older sibling of the television star Marichelo Puente, born in 1978. Her older half-sister Diana Puente was also born via her father's earlier marriage.
