The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied clarinet as well as piano and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's passion for theatre during her high school years brought her to Boston Conservatory, where she was given an award. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp started her professional career performing on stage following her graduation at the Conservatory. Sharp performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also played eight characters in the comedic interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatre productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. In addition to her work both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she's co-written or written. A complete recording is currently being planned. She is still singing. Sharp enjoys exercise. She stays fit by boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp resides with her family in Los Angeles with family.
